BNY Mellon Forms Advisory Council to Support Asia Growth
BNY Mellon has formed an advisory council to support the US financial giant’s growth plans in the Asia Pacific region. BNY Mellon has established an Asia Pacifica Advisory Council, according to a statement, in an effort to advance the firm’s strategic growth agenda in the region and support clients by providing insights and guidance to the leadership team. The council is made up of three members with a wealth of experience including Eiji Hirano , director and vice chairman of Metlife Japan, Jong Nam , senior advisor at South Korea’s largest law firm Kim Chang and Zili Shao , senior advisor at Shanghai-based law firm Fangda Partners. «The formation of the Advisory Council is a reflection of our steadfast commitment to our clients as we continue to invest in the region, our people, and capabilities to power our business. This will help future-proof our clients’ operating models, enabling them to take their business growth to the next level,» said Hani Kablawi , chairman of international at BNY Mellon.
