'GOODMAN HOUSE' Circa 1890
Built in 1890, in Hepburn Springs, 'Goodman House' was built as the summer residence for the General Manager of the Board of Works. In 1910, it was sold and moved, along with its 'stable', to its present site in Camp St, and set down on dry stacked brick piers and a walk down cellar.
'Goodman House' sits within Daylesford's Historic Precinct, a few minutes walk to the Botanical Gardens, and to the main shopping precinct and many of the town's fine restaurants.
