We’re young-ish professionals, a guy and a girl, both in our 30s, tidy and clean. We have our own circle of friends and hobbies but also socialise together and on occasion cook together too. There are 2 months left on the lease so one option would be to share with us and a cat for 2 months, or the other option would be to go onto the lease and continue beyond that. Due to our current housemate buying a flat, we are looking for a non-smoking housemate to join our shared home, but no couples or pets please.
The house has 3 double bedrooms, a living room, light and airy kitchen with dishwasher, dining room, bathroom with bathtub and a shower, and internal laundry area. There is a veranda out the front, and a patio and garden with bbq out the back. The house is fully-furnished but would benefit from an armchair or additional sofa if you have one. The bedroom can be either furnished or unfurnished depending on your needs, and comes with triple-fronted built-ins. There’s reverse cycle air conditioning.
Rozelle has a lovely village feel to it and a great market each weekend, and Balmain’s great pubs and restaurants are just a short walk away. There’s a Coles and Woolworths 5 minute drive / 15 minute walk away, or an IGA and bank 2 streets away on Darling Street. We’re 2 blocks from the Victoria Road (on the Balmain side) where buses zip into the city every few minutes, taking 10 mins to get to Town Hall Station.
