In my 12 long years of watching anime, I've come across a quite diverse variety.
Running from different genres to different plots and audiences and even those made in different nationalities.
[The Outcast]() is one of such anime's I've watched that isn't of japanese descent.
Although I think the most interesting foreign anime I've ever watched is the one of magic, science and insane battles...

## Plot
> The story takes place in the world of Remnant, which is filled with supernatural forces and shadowy creatures known as the Grimm. Prior to the events of the series, mankind waged a battle of survival against the Grimm before discovering the power of a mysterious element called Dust, which allowed them to fight back against the monsters. In the present day, Dust is used to power abilities and weapons. Those who use these abilities to battle the Grimm are known as Huntsmen and Huntresses. The series focuses on four girls, each with her own unique weapon and powers. Together, they form a team at Beacon Academy in the city of Vale, where they are trained to become Huntresses. ~ [*Source](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt3066242/plotsummary/)*

Although I call it an anime, I do feel it's good to note that it isn't an anime in normal sense. It is an American anime-influenced 3D computer animated web series created by the now late Monty Oum.
This seemingly little change in terms makes a lot of things clear during the course of watching the anime.
While watching from the beginning you'll notice that it looked rather futuristic for 2013 yet it didn't look all that good either.
It isn't far from saying that this was an amateurish work.
Although this amateurish first season gained fame and momentum really fast.
It prompted a second volume, then a third and now we're in the ninth😀.
Sadly the original creator Monty Oum passed away in 2015 during the showing of it's third volume. Since then volume releases have been inconsistent but still the show's appeal never waned.
### What I Liked
Now there are a lot of things to like about this anime. A whole effing lot.. yet I'll talk about only 3.
#### - The New Feel it Brings..
Remember what I called it before, it isn't your general or normal anime and viewers begin to notice this from the very first episode.
It's something different, something new and yet it isn't bad.
The 3D animation was also eye-catching at when it came out and during my first time of watching it in 2017.

#### - The Action
I think this is the general appeal of the anime.
The fights were beautiful. Simply beautiful.
Mixing of magic, martial arts, swordplay, gunfights, fistfights, everything was so chaotic yet smooth, it's a challenge to tear your eyes of the scene.
Almost every weapon could fire a projectile. So both long range and close range was compensated for.
For a show that first started in 2013, the fight sequences are incredibly smooth. The animation wasn't always at its best but that didn't dull the fights and for that alone, this anime to me is greater than 6 Stars.

#### - The Tenacity of The Show Crew.
This is a big story. 9 volumes and still ongoing is a large run to go without the original creator of the show.
The show's story is still good though.
Incredible that the show didn't drop flat after Month died and it earns my respect for that.
### <center>Overall Rating
A lovely show that is still ongoing. Great for action, fantasy and adventure lovers.
A solid 8 out of 10
