Its been quite some time since I watched some nice premium animated cartoon and this show was just what I needed for the closing of the working days.
##<center>The Nut Job</center>
### Plot
> Surly, a troublemaker squirrel gets thrown out of his park by the animals living there due to one of his usual destructive antics destroying the parks food stacks for winter.
In order to get back in, he plans to rob a nut shop but the plan, like all his other plans didn't go on as smoothly as it went in his head.

Watching this 2014 animated comedy was really a nice experience for me as I got to see the comedic characters of my time as a preteen.
Back then when cartoons were just cartoons and nothing else.
> nothing like the unusual tripping sexuality information that's being pumped into the kid shows nowadays...
Just a nice show that's sure to give you lovely laughs.

#### What I Liked
***
##### - The Beautiful Characters
In actuality, why I decided to rewatch this show today was because I saw a rat in the gutters on my way to school.
It's a bit out of context but from that rat, my mind started drifting to how rodents and animals live in a city and from there my mind straight up came to this film.
That's what a writer dealing with cartoon is always striving for, making up characters that's never ending, characters as such as the likes of Simba who'll always being in the minds of anyone who ever watches their show.

##### - The Comedy
This was a major golden award for me for what a good animation show always has to be funny.
The actor Will Arnette who has started in plenty animated comedy and non-animated comedy really showed his humorous prowess here. His character, Surly's jokes and ironic comments would leave you laughing all through the film.
***
##### - A Lovely Storyline
Making a comedic cartoon is easy but making a comedic cartoon with a meaningful and we'll written storyline is way harder.
This shows storyline is one who'll draw you into the lives of the park animals, making you feel their grief and confusion with the aspect of not having food throughout the winter still making your curious and hopeful of Surly's quest to the nut shop.
It's truly genius ✨

##### - Lovely Character Design as Animation.
This is also one lovely aspect of the show. The animation is on point. I assure you that it'll be hard to distinguish it from any of the other cartoons coming up her despite this one being a decade behind.
The colors used in the animals are fresh and the animation is smooth. A real flex of the 3D cartoon animation technique.

### <center>Overall Rating</center>
This show is an all time family wonder. Something that should be right below or dare I say it, up there with the likes of Lion King itself.
It has a sequel too which is still awesome 🔥
I indulge on every one too watch this, child and parents, let's get in touch with our *nutty side* 🌰
