Around New Year’s Eve we (four adults) spent a week in this wonderful house. Beeing wintertime we couldn’t go swimming at the lovely beach right in front of the house. But it was so great staying inside enjoying the beautiful panoramic view through cinemascope sized huge windows over the bay. The floorheating added to the cosiness.
Every morning we woke up with the same great view from the bedrooms, seeing the sun rising over the bay.
We appreciated the perfectly designed and equipped kitchen where we loved to prepare great dinners.
There are al lot of nice and convenient corners in the house so that everyone from us could find a quiet place for relaxing, reading or just enjoying the architecture.
For me the design of the house in every detail was the absolut highlight. I loved these old wooden boards in combination with naked concrete, white walls and huge windows so much. It's a threedimensional artwork with brilliant composed perspectives on three floors.
Because of it’s cosiness we left the house just for buying fresh fish and for some interesting excursions: The wild water basins (must be great for a bath in summer), the Atlantic ocean at the dunes natural park, the ruins of a Celtic village and not to forget Santiago di Compostela. All of it pretty nearby.
Our days in Dezanove have been pure fun.
Many thanks to Anna and Inaki, the Dezanove's architects, who both welcomed us personally with greatest warmness and generosity (thanks for this wonderful Galician tart).
We’d love to come again some time soon.
