We are Rosemarie and Eddie and our 3 children, Emily, Marcella and Edward junior. We have hosted for the past 7 years and had some wonderful experiences and met some fantastic people.<br /> <br /> South American, European, African, Asian and American, Amish, Christian, Muslim and Morman, families, students, professionals, travelers, young (aged 11) and older (aged 52).<br /> <br /> I used to work for the local newspaper and now I am lucky enough to work part time from home and host students, delighted to be at home with my family and animals.<br /> Eddie is an Electrician with the Irish Rail service.<br /> <br /> We have great accommodation for our guests. There are 3 floors in our home and the third floor, is where our guests stay so there is a bit of privacy.<br /> There are 2 bedrooms here, each bedroom has a Super King size bed and a single bed if required, Both rooms have a tv with chromecast, a desk and wardrobe etc and there is also strong broadband signal up here too. Guests will obviously have full use of all the house facilities and join us for all meals.<br /> On this floor there is also a bathroom with power shower.<br /> <br /> We love having guests stay. Finding out about their culture and customs, foods and interests. It is a great opportunity for our children to experience the world from our own home, our primary motivation for hosting.<br /> <br /> We also find great joy in showing our guests some of our favorite Irish sites and scenery, activities and hidden gems off the beaten track such as Trooperstown in Wicklow, the Slieve Bloom walk etc.<br /> <br /> We like to take part in many activities, horse riding, football, tennis are our favorites, We love to take trips on Sundays, get out of the house and see a few local attractions or an overnight stay in the West or South.<br /> <br /> We have a variety of animals at our home, dogs, horses, hens etc. There are no indoor animals.<br /> <br /> We live in the midlands in Ireland, Irelands Ancient East, there are a host of local areas of interest, however our local train station has trains which are just 2 hours from Galway, Cork, 1 hour from Waterford and 30 minutes to Dublin.<br /> We are healthy eaters, mostly organic foods, homemade bread each day. We have fresh eggs each day from our beautiful chickens. We eat meat infrequently, all meals home cooked except on special occasions such as birthdays where an Apache Pizza is traditional.<br /> We can cook to arrange of different needs.<br /> <br /> We look forward to hearing from you!<br /> Rosemarie and Eddie.<br /> <br />
