If you have something else for S besides SPV, you could use "QUERY" - as in, users use SPV to QUERY the nodes to confirm the longest chain and get the merkle tree branch (simplifying the language a little of course). Exactly as Satoshi wrote in the white paper. This is important enough to be under either S for SPV or Q for Query, as the wider bitcoin community needs to learn that we don't need to download the whole blockchain. We only query the nodes for what we are interested in.
