Not much difference - just the nature of the public square. Feudalism was broken when it became possible for courageous folks to stand up and speak freely in the public square, protected by the rule of Law. The present day public square enables any one to stand up with a hood on - completely anonymous (on social media) - and scream obscenities and lies to confuse the unwary innocents. I'm hoping BSV could be the pseudonymous public square that allows civil discourse and the law breakers can be tracked down and prosecuted when they break the Law. Or am I being naïve?
