Seeing ETH gas prices go up to ridiculous amounts this week, I'm surprised that so many developers support it in the hopes that version 2.0 will fix everything. I would like to understand this mindset, as there are clearly intelligent people in the space, but the choice seems bizarre to me.
Perhaps it's just lack of awareness of a suitable alternative, or an unwillingness to associate with BSV's 'tarnished' reputation. I can imagine being a lone bitcoiner in a room of ETH devotees would quickly lead to outcasting. But it's not a world I know.
