Surah Hud

11th chapter of the Qur'an

Surah Hud (Arabic: هود, Hūd),[1] is the 11th surah of the Qur'an , the religious book of Muslims; There are 123 verses and 10 ruku's. Surah Hud has been revealed in Makkah . This surah speaks of the wrath (divine punishment) upon the previous nations and various kinds of severe torment (pre-determined punishment) and the terrible events of the Day of Resurrection and the rewards and punishments.[2]
