After a stint on Complex’s online sports show Out of Bounds, former adult film star Mia Khalifa has reportedly departed to focus on her own show on Twitch.
The ex-Pornhub star has been the subject of much controversy in recent years, even receiving death threats from terrorists. However, she’s never shied away from making her views on anything known.

Who is Mia Khalifa?
Mia Khalifa is a former adult film actress and social media star who recently hosted Complex’s web sports show Out of Bounds.
Khalifa, also known as Mia Castilla, was born in Beirut, Lebanon on February 10, 1993.
Khalifa and her family relocated to the United States in 2000. She grew up in Maryland and graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a degree in history.
She began acting in pornographic films in October 2014 after being approached by a customer at her retail job to inquire if she had ever acted in adult films before. She quickly shot to fame on adult film sharing site Pornhub, becoming the top ranked performer on the site in late December 2014.
Khalifa generated much controversy after performing wearing an Islamic hijab, prompting death threats from ISIS. Despite her widespread popularity and status as a rising star in the adult film industry, she ultimately quit working in pornography in early 2015 due to the threats and her desire to have a 'more normal job'.
Khalifa has continued to work as a webcam model and social media personality. She was hired by Complex for their new sports show Out of Bounds in October 2017 but departed to focus on her own Twitch.TV show in February 2018.
Complex’s Out of Bounds show
Out of Bounds, a daily sports talk show cohosted by Mia Khalifa and former NBA star Gilbert Arenas, was first announced on October 10, 2017 and premiered on October 16, 2017 on YouTube and Complex News.
Both Khalifa and Arenas are well-known for their extensive social media use in recent years, generating controversy as well as attracting millions of followers.
The Internet show is known for its unfiltered and abrasive approach to sports news, aiming to bring ‘the comments section to real life.’ Khalifa, in particular, caused a number of media stirs during her tenure with the Internet show, launching a tirade against NFL star AJ Green for fighting with Jacksonville Jaguars player Jalen Ramsey and criticizing professional wrestling as ‘embarrassing.’
Khalifa departed from the show in February 2018 for 'other business endeavors'.
Mia Khalifa’s Twitch show
Khalifa left Out of Bounds to focus on a new show of her own on Twitch.TV, a live video streaming platform. She has posted on Twitch before but reportedly wants to focus more on her show full-time.
During an interview on former cyclist Lance Armstrong’s podcast, Khalifa stated that she ‘didn’t want to be in LA’ and that Complex was ‘understanding’ when she expressed her desire to depart from Out of Bounds.
