Haryana (Urdu: ہريانہ‬‎), /ˌhɑːriˈɑːnə/ is a state in Indie. Constitutit in 1966, it is ane o twa newly creatit states carvit oot o the greater Punjab province as a means of creatin a stranger naitional identity. It haes been a pairt o the Kuru region in North Indie.^[1]^[2]^[3] The name Haryana is foond mentioned in the 12t century AD bi the Apabhramsha writer Vibudh Shridhar (VS 1189-1230).^[4] The river Yamuna defines its eastren border wi Uttarakhand an Uttar Pradesh. Haryana surroonds Delhi on three sides an aw, formin the northren, wastren an soothren borders o Delhi. Consequently, a lairge aurie o Haryana is included in the Naitional Caipital Region. The caipital o the state is Chandigarh which is admeenistered as a union territory an is the caipital o Punjab an aw.

Translation: There are countless villages in Haryana country. The villagers there work hard. They don't accept domination of others, and are experts in making the blood of their enemies flow. Indra himself praises this country. The capital of this country is Dhilli.
