Dr. Tomasz Dzierżanowski is currently an Associate Professor and the Head of the Palliative Medicine Clinic at the Medical University of Warsaw. He is also the Vice-President of the Polish Society of Palliative Medicine and Medical Director of Caritas DWP. He received his master’s degree from the Medical University of Warsaw in 1992. From 2012 to 2019, he was an Assistant Professor at the Laboratory of Palliative Medicine, the Medical University of Lodz. His research interests are focused on the study of palliative care; health-related quality of life; dignity in dying; and the bowel.
