We explored our future direction, growth journey, and strategic vision, followed by a lively 'CEO Roast' session where Epassians had the opportunity to ask questions to our country leaders. The day continued with fun activities at our Epassi offices across various locations, bringing everyone together in a team spirit. 2023 - What a year! 🎉 This year has truly been filled with exciting and memorable moments for us, as we reflect on the milestones we accomplished together. In 2023 we: ◻️ Expanded our business to 5 new markets: UK & Ireland, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands. ◻️ TA Associates and Warburg Pincus LLC acquired a majority stake in Epassi Group. ◻️ We were recognized for our growth & efforts, for example: ▪️ Epassi was listed by The Financial Times among the 1,000 fastest growing companies in Europe, for the second year in a row. ▪️ We were recognized as the leading Fintech company by Helsinki Fintech Farm. ▪️ We were listed on the TE500 list of biggest companies in Finland. ▪️ The Epassi App has been selected by Apple as one of the Top Free Apps in the 2023 Charts for Finland! ◻️ The whole company met in Turku for a kick-off in September. ◻️ 47 new Epassians joined our team this year. ◻️ We launched EpassiStories in our app. ◻️ We moved to new offices in Stockholm, Trollhättan & Vaasa. ◻️ and much more! The growth journey continues! 🌍 Epassi Group today announced the strategic acquisition of Exercite, a provider of corporate health and wellness benefit solutions in Germany and the Netherlands, from Waterland Private Equity and its founders. The transaction follows the simultaneous completion of a majority investment in Epassi from TA Associates and Warburg Pincus LLC, two leading global private equity firms focused on growth investing. Exercite operates across four brands, including Hansefit GmbH & Co. KG, a leading corporate health and wellness network provider in Germany, Bedrijfsfitness Nederland (BFNL) and Workit, two leading corporate health and wellness network providers in the Netherlands, and Fitbase Institut für Online Prävention GmbH, a provider of online, digital wellbeing courses based in Germany. Together, the brands provide access to a large network of gyms, fitness studios, swimming pools, spa services and physiotherapist centers to more than 2.5 million employees, alongside an array of digital offerings in mindfulness, sports and wellbeing. The combination of Epassi and Exercite creates one of Europe’s largest independent employee benefits providers, adding more than 7,000 corporate customers and over 12,000 merchants to Epassi’s growing portfolio. 🎃 Spooktacular fun at our Halloween AW! 👻 Last week we transformed our new Stockholm office into a haunted house for a Halloween party. Our amazing team went all in with their costumes, from witches and pumpkins to pirates and Kenny Starfighter – we had it all! 🧙♀️🧛♂️👹 The evening was filled with fun games, a costume contest, and a great time together with the colleagues.
