EU elections: Europe in the starting blocks

The European Parliament elections begin on Thursday with the opening of polling stations in the Netherlands. Voting will take place in the Czech Republic and Ireland on Friday. Italy, Latvia, Slovakia and Malta will follow on Saturday and the remaining countries on Sunday. A glance at the European commentaries shows how disparate the citizens' expectations of the MEPs are.
