May 2024 Knight of the Month

Mr. Jacques Humphrey is the SBD 3 Knight of the Month for May 2024. He serves as a computer information specialist with the 61st Force Support Squadron at LA AFB. The Knight of the Month program recognizes outstanding members of individual units each month. Humphrey's job is important to the mission at LAAFB because I’m responsible for ensuring our tech systems are up and running for the classrooms, testing centers, CDC, MPF, M&FRC, thus facilitating the delivery of unique community services and capabilities to LAAFB.

LOS ANGELES AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --

Congratulations to our SBD3 Knight of the Month for May, Mr. Jacques Humphrey, Computer Information Specialist from the 61st Force Support Squadron - Los Angeles AFB.

As a proud military brat, Mr. Humphrey attended elementary school in Germany and lived there for 5 years!

In his free time he enjoys playing the drums for his church, video games and training his six kids in their various sports.

Recently, Mr. Humphrey saved the day when the newly implemented eWAPS testing center experienced multiple terminal failures. Due to his quick thinking he found a working solution to ensure the ports stayed open for the terminals to operate, avoiding test rescheduling. As a testament to his commitment to the mission, he stayed for several testing days to ensure continued connectivity.
