The Guardian is still the best source for independent quality journalism, not owned by a billionaire. But the redesigned app is much worse than it was. It is glitchy, with a different story to the one clicked opening on a regular basis, and the loss of the ability to rearrange the home page makes it much harder to find the news that interests you. The My Guardian section is frankly useless and I never use it.

Long time supporter here. This used to be a great app. After a recent overhaul, the app seriously went down hill. Previous home page preferences went out the window, and after I selected new preferences they were automatically wiped and I had to go back to square one. Also, the app used to automatically save articles for offline reading, an amazing feature. Now, none of the download features work (both scheduled and manual downloads). Very frustrating to not be able to use the app offline.

Latest update has rendered the app unusable. I lost all personalisation and have to navigate a different UI -what on earth was wrong with the old one? I I can neither sign in or reset my password. As this 'block' appears almost immediately after opening the app, it's no use to me. There is nothing wrong with my login, it still works as it should on my desktop. Have you never heard the phrase 'If it's not broken, don't fix it?' I'd like to continue to support the Guardian but this is ridiculous.
