This past weekend, @fbns_ncstate hosted the ever-popular NC State BBQ Camp—a two-day seminar that is the only university-level, science-based course of its kind in the Southeast. Participants, selected from a waitlist of hundreds, learned the ins and outs of dry rubs, barbecue sauce (tomato, vinegar AND mustard), meat preparation, grilling and more.

NC State horticultural science professor Danesha Seth Carley and her team provided essential guidance on native plants for the Pinehurst No. 2 golf course during its renovation ten years ago.
