Unofficial Netflix discussion, and all things Netflix related! (Mods are not Netflix employees, but employees occasionally post here).
Every new Dropout show that's come out since I've been a full time member has been nothing but incredible. They may have outdone themselves with Thousandaires. Holy shit. I love the premise and that first episode kicked so much ass.
I know there was a post a few months ago saying the same thing, but I want to repeat praise for Dropout continuing covid precautions.
While watching the most recent behind the scenes video, I was once again so grateful to see the crew wearing masks!
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU DROPOUT for your commitment to caring for everyone's wellbeing and showing that it is possible to integrate precautions into our everyday way of life. <3

In spite of being extremely well regarded by critics and audiences alike, Scavengers Reign entered Netflix with little to no advertisement, and without a greenlit Season 2. Will Netflix bring a new life to the series or will another high-quality, well-received show be consigned to cancellation?
I saw a short where they pointed out a misspelling definitely having been written by Grant and in response he actually comes on set, then it cut off. Want to know which episode that was

I don't know how they're going to beat episode one! What great idea and execution!
I’ve enjoyed getting to know various Dropout folks who host different shows, like Sam on Game Changer and Make Some Noise, Lily (and Grant) on Dirty Laundry, Vic on Very Important People, and Mike / Ify on Umm, Actually. Add in Aabria, Brennan, and Matt for various seasons of D20, and some of my favorite parts of these shows involve the steady presence of a longtime host alongside often-rotating participants.
With that said, I’m thrilled that Thousandaires is flipping that norm by rotating hosts for each episode! The premise of the show was fascinating to me when I thought it was only the four participants receiving money for the show, but adding in a new host experiencing the game fresh and spending $1K on a mystery prize take the concept to even greater heights.
The only downside for me is that Jacquis was so excellent as host for the first episode that I would’ve been excited to see him running the show. But after this and killing it on Make Some Noise, maybe he’ll end up as host of something permanent in the future.
Are y’all excited about rotating hosts for Thousandaires? Who are your top picks to host?

JioCinema butchered the office sitcom. I watched it from Netflix and it was perfect there. JioCinema massively trimmed different parts of episodes. You will miss great scenes if you watch it here. Also, I noticed that in the subtitles, they didn't type the words like boobs, penis. I don't understand why, there are natural part of human body. Why are they making these things as taboo? Absolute bull crap ott.
