It’s time for another Spring Craft Blog Hop craft! This time, the focus is on St. Patrick’s Day, April Fools, Palm Sunday, and general spring crafts. If you would like to participate and share your crafts, please link-up HERE.

To kick off the second installment of the Spring Craft Blog Hop, I created a St. Patrick’s Day Arrow Word Wall Art using my Silhouette machine. You see, I’ve been staring at my Silhouette machine for several months now and it was time to dust it off.

St-Patricks-Day-Arrow-Word-Wall-Art Supplies:

  • Silhouette machine
  • Arrow words – St. Patrick’s Day cut file download *
  • 3 shades of green glitter paper
  • 1 gold glitter paper
  • glue
  • tape
  • toothpick
  • scissors
  • white cardstock or white vinyl
  • frame
  • glue

*To create this wall art, I bought and downloaded the St. Patrick’s Day Arrow Words file for 99 cents.

Directions:Arrow-words-st-patricks-day-cut

*You can also lightly brush glue on the back of the cardstock and press on the glitter paper. If using vinyl, you can just stick the glitter paper onto the sticky side of the vinyl.

  • Glue down* the inside of the letters that were left behind on the cut mat
  • Glue down areas that are popping up on the cardstock
  • Once the glue is dry, insert into your frame

*I used a toothpick and tacky glue to glue down the letters and cardstock.

I love my new St. Patrick’s Day Wall Arrow Word Wall Art!

  1. It turned out very nice Erlene. I am making my list for Santa now and I can see that I need to ask for a Silhouette or a Cricut. Do they do the same thing? I am enjoying the inspiration to get in tough with my crafty side for the Spring Craft Blog Hop 2015! I have a craft in the works right now, hope to complete it today!

    1. I debated for a looong time and I decided to go for the Silhouette but I want the Cricut too…lol. They have different strengths and having both would be perfect! You can search the web for comparisons pros/cons to decide which is right for you.

  2. Oh that is so cute! I am so not crafty, but I think I could do that! I have wanted to change our fireplace mantel for the holidays, but didnt have an idea for St Patricks yet….that would be perfect!

  3. This is adorable! I love the glittered cardstock you used. I will have to see if I can make one with my Cricut since I don’t have a Silhouette, though. I’m so glad to be co-hosting the Spring Blog Hop with you!
