The way Thorn's face fell, just ever so slightly, when Fah said he'd gotten them all seafood dishes. He was trying to hide it in front of everyone one but it was literally a moment out of his nightmare... and then the reveal of the specially marked box with his name.
And the way Fah never mentioned his allergy. Never even said that he'd been the one to insist on the special order. Never said a single word, just turned away to leave them to eat alone.
They both care so, so much but there's something holding them back.
Thorn is held back by his knowledge that Fah likes someone else, that he's seen him flirting with a girl and he wants him to be happy first and foremost.
