Customers like the material and width of the bicycle trailer. For example, they mention it has a solid aluminum frame, good stability, and awesome amortization. That said, they say it's narrow enough to fit through gates and doors, but wide enough for the kids to be comfortable.

PROS:
1.) This stroller moves FAST. If you want to run with minimal drag and stay ergonomically correct then this stroller is perfect. The kids are safely tucked away with a low center of gravity which gives you excellent visibility over them and good stability overall. The strolling wheels are nice for walking and cut down on the overall profile of the stroller if you're in a busy area (parks, mall, etc). The strolling wheels give excellent maneuverability which helps in tight situations. The jogging wheel is easy to install and also stores easily on the stroller, same as the strolling wheels. Really, swapping between any attachment is quite easy.
2.) The cargo pocket is huge with loads of room for anything you may need. It keeps your items dry. There is also a handy pocket along the backs of the riders (accessed from the rear) that is good for smaller items you want super handy. There is a small pocket for valuables or your cell phone that is at the top of the handy pocket.
3.) Rider notes: First, LOVE the new straps/buckles. My 2012 Cougar (single) has an older configuration and I find the new ones much more comfy looking. I use the infant sling for my baby and my 2 year-old rides in the seat next to her. You can leave the whole stroller open (recommended for walking as the kids get a lot of air flow). However, when I run (or if it's buggy) I put the cover down. This cuts down some on the wind-in-the-face effect, which my baby appreciates. I should note that I really like the position of the awning/canopy for sun protection. I often run early in the day or late in the afternoon when the sun is low and find that my kids still don't have sun in their eyes the way they always do with my traditional umbrella stroller. I live in TX so it's HOT but if you're moving there is a lot of wind and my kids stay comfortable. Lastly, there are two little pockets inside for toys/snacks/drinks (see a "con" below). I do like how I can give my son a bunch of toys and they stay inside the stroller with him. Also, the tinted sides are perfect for sun protection. Lastly, with the rain barrier zipped shut your kids will stay dry even in a pretty torrential downpour (been there, done that). The back of the stroller is vented so there is still good airflow.
CONS:
1.) The old strap configuration allowed me to sometimes just buckle my son around his waist (like a belt) which allowed him to bend over and reach things at his feet or the pocket for his drink/snacks/toys. I did this when we were walking in places like the zoo, the mall, etc... not while running/biking. The new straps are all-in-one so it's a typical 5 point harness and he has trouble reaching his feet or items he drops. This is not a show-stopper, just a convenience thing. I DO like that the straps are now more on par safety-wise with a car seat 5 point system. I just note the minor con for anyone else familiar with the old straps.
2.) It's hard to see your kids. If you have a BOB or any typical stroller you can see your kids via the front, the side, and often through a little peep hole in the canopy. Since the Chariot is meant for sports (running, biking, etc) then it's designed to keep debris out. So, to see your kids you can sort of peer through the tinted sides but for a good look you have to go to the front, bend down to see under the sun canopy and then look in. So, if you have a little kid who is snacking while you run it's just a bit harder to steal a peek to check on them. Again, not a show stopper, but something you should be aware of as it is different from most "strollers".
3.) This stroller is wide but hey, it's a double chariot! The stroller is 31.5" wide and will fit through my front door and through most business's doors. I could see the width being a problem with an older home or secondary doors (like the door from inside my home into the garage or a bedroom door.) Basically, measure the doors you need to drive the stroller into/out of for your normal use. Because if it doesn't fit you'd have to take the kids out, collapse the stroller and put it through the door sideways.
4-21-14 - still NO contact or remedy from Thule. Customer service is not good.
Would have given 5 stars for assembly, quality and working order but customer service is substandard.
From doorstep delivery - the size of the box is nothing less than scary!
Next - open the box and remove the item and I'm still unsure of how well this assembly is going to go.
BUT don't be frightened - it gets easier.
Two problems to start: The front wheels are hidden inside the item and so are the assembly instructions.
Time to complete assembly: less than 30 minutes with ONE person.
It does arrive mostly assembled except for a few parts, push center buttons on back wheels, snap this, clip that and your stroller is complete. Very impressive. Handling and steering is great, quality is fantastic and it's actually lightweight for the size of the item.
Now to a problem. The cover that spans from handles down to front bar does not work properly on our item. It's the one piece that I feel is substandard. It has two strips on each side on the cover that is "cupped" and should clip on the bar that spans across the front bottom (see where the two green strips end right above the "bumper" and wheels.) One side clips on and stays put. The left side will not stay put on the bar and pops off continually. I'm not sure if the cover is too tight, if the "cupped" plastic is not tight or if there is a bend in the frame that's causing it.
So not sure what to do - review with less than perfect comments or say it's a fluke - I wrote the company. It's hard to find a way to get to them since I didn't purchase this at a store but finally I did find a contact area and relayed that this was a Vine item and I had to do the review. I asked them to please let me know if this was an ongoing problem with the model or ?? This is a $750 item so for someone purchasing it, I'd hate for them to have this issue and not have customer service. Three days later they wrote and asked a few questions and I answered. I haven't heard a word since - it's at least 3 weeks. I "think" they're sending a new cover for the item to try but at this point who knows.
In the end, near the bottom of the cover there are two open squares that are "thumb tabs". If the company doesn't help me with this item, I'll have a friend attach two small hooks on the corners of the bumper to attach the thumb tabs to. This modification doesn't absolve the company of the cover problem with the product but it does make my particular Vine item and cover useful.
Is it worth $750? I've got to say that it's well made, handles nicely, definitely is a sturdy item. There are multiple accessories to make this an "all weather" vehicle. I think it would be perfect for taking to parks and such because you can use as a baby carriage and to load things The wheels allow it to glide along on pavement, gravel, anything.
Traveling - if you have a small car then it would have to go on the racks. In an SUV it could lay flat behind the seat but nothing more would fit I think. The back wheels pop off easily and can lay on top - so that removes an extra 4 or 5" from the height when folded down. In the "old days" -- You had to be a rocket scientist to open older strollers just to use them (not even assembly.) This is easy to fold, easy to open, easy to use.
Yes, I suppose you get what you pay for and I think it's worth the money for some. The bottom line - how much will you use it? How long will the baby/babies fit in it? How much do you bike or walk? AND most importantly - will I get any satisfaction from the company regarding the issue with the cover because whether this item is worth the money or not doesn't matter if you can't get customer satisfaction regarding an problem, a question or an accessory.
