To do some more elaborate faces you will need to buy some sponges and more brushes as the brush this comes with isn't the best - and it is quicker to paint a sponge to quickly paint a child's face - definitely more for 'at home fun' and not for a professional as it advises. We hit pan quite quickly - but I bought it specifically for my daughter's birthday (I can face paint, but do not do it professionally) and it suited that purpose. To top up and replace I've started using a different brand and kit (snazaroo) - but this works for just for at home fun and a casual family face paint.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I have been looking for different activities to do during lockdown and this was definitely a hit. The pallet is only small but lots of choice of colour. As you use water you only need a bit of colour to get great coverage. 2 brushes are included. They are soft on the skin and easy to clean. The paint dries really quick too and does not feel heavy on the skin. Myself and my son painted each-others face. It was really fun to do. My son kept his paints on from 9am until bath time at 6.30. It stayed on for the duration and did not come off onto clothes etc. If it gets wet though it may need touching up. It was easy to clean off (he had been spiderman so lots of red and black paint used). There are so many colours and choices it can be used for every occasion - parties, halloween, superhero dress up. Can’t wait to get creative again!
