About Emily Saladino

Emily Saladino is a culinary editor at Food Network with more than 15 years of food and beverage experience. At Food Network, she writes reported features and how-to articles (what is the best way to keep meatloaf juicy?) and edits hundreds of recipes. She is also a contributing editor at Imbibe Magazine and Writer at Large for Wine Enthusiast, where she reviews wines from Greece, Georgia and Hungary. A trained cook, wine reviewer and recipe developer, her work has been published such national publications as The Washington Post, Bon Appetit, Food and Wine, BBC and many others.

Experience: Emily was previously managing editor of Wine Enthusiast, editor-in-chief of VinePair and content editor at Google. A cook and bartender in New York City for more than 5 years, Emily is currently a member of Les Dames d'Escoffier, International Association of Culinary Professionals and Circle of Wine Writers.

Education: She is a graduate of French Culinary Institute (now International Culinary Center), a professional culinary arts program that consists of 650 instructional hours, and has completed Level 2 wine certification from Wine and Spirits Education Trust. She graduated from College of the Holy Cross with a degree in English Literature and Africana Studies.
