Openly talking to her about taking out Tony and being frank about the business. Probably a stupid decision in case things went badly, but kind of interesting that he is the only guy that we see doing this.

Let me tell you a couple three things

Forget Yoda, forget Obi-Wan who goes over to the Death Star and never comes back, forget my sister Leia. The Emperor has no respect for this thing. He's never been to Dagobah, not really. Here's a guy who stepped over his own senate to grab the big seat, his legislature assembly. Listen to me. They train anybody and everybody over there. And the way that they do it, it's all fucked up. Guys don't do backflips and lift rocks. There's no little green dude on their back...

I love how horrifying and spooky they make Mark in his very first appearance, from Helly's perspective. It feels almost silly on a rewatch when you learn who Mark is.
r/SeveranceAppleTVPlus

Mark leads a team of office workers whose memories have been surgically divided between their work and personal lives. When a mysterious colleague appears outside of work, it begins a journey to discover the truth about their jobs.

Carmela isn’t just a horrible person (she is). She’s also a horrible mob wife.

This isn’t about her being a terrible person. Frankly, she’s not special in that regard. Damn near everyone on the show is awful, with few exceptions.

She just plain sucks at being a mob wife.

-She consistently asks questions as though she doesn’t know what Tony does.

Richie is a perfect early example and Tony calls her on it immediately. But with Adriana, it should have been easy to put two and two together.

Wanting to track her down was mind blowing, because the possibility of her getting whacked should have been on her list of scenarios.

But that was family, so it’s at least somewhat understandable.

-She has the audacity to get upset that Angie was on payroll, as though, again, that’s not perfectly in line with his position.

-The nagging about the hours he keeps.

-Even things like asking who Tony is talking to in the basement, when he’s talking to Brian.

-Her nagging about putting money into legitimate funds, particularly at a time when they know there is heavy FBI scrutiny. When she does make her move, she goes right up to the line without crossing it.

It plays well for humor, but it’s a blatantly obvious move that, given her name, would likely raise some flags.

She just lacks any real savvy and understanding of her role.

-Yes, her constant back and forth about Tony having a goomah. And again, Tony calls her out on this.

It’s not just that she tries to have her cake and eat it too by living off his blood money- as is pointed out to her a few times- it’s also that she tries to balance that with being a “godly” woman.

But worse? She wants all the benefits, up to and including writing checks she knows Tony would have to cash, such as the implied threat with the Fielder letter, telling the teacher to watch his step after he realizes she was using him, but at no point does she want to play the role.

As Tony said, she grew up around this. She knows exactly what the deal is- and knew going in. And within the context of the show, that inability to really play her role is her biggest flaw.

Neal's non-toxic masculinity

He doesn't like guns even though he could keep up with the best shooters if he wanted, he's ridiculously successful with getting ladies' attention and doesn't take advantage of them one little bit, he sacrifices his own well-being to rescue or stand up for others, he can run in the most elite circles and doesn't look down on people outside of them, he's confident without being conceited, he's ripped without making that the bulk of his identity or daily life, he's incredibly intelligent and doesn't use it to put anyone down, I could go on!

Does anyone else think about this? Of all the leading men on TV, I think he's one of our best role models for men. I love that the writers made an actual heroic character who is complex and has a dark side but is overall good and cares a lot about morals, good character, and growing as a person.
