Do I need any supportive tools?

When you grind the stone surface dust will get out, we suggest you to ware your safety goggles and dust mask, you may also attach dust shroud with vacuum on your angle grinder to reduse the dust.

How to Use:

Follow carefully the instructions given in the machine handbook.
Never fit a diamond dish/cup wheel that is too loose or tight on the flange.
Tighten only with the tool supplied with the machine.
Ensure the wheel is properly gripped to prevent slippage, but do not tighten with excessive force.

We recommend the use of the following personal protective equipment:

Eye protection, Ear protection (ear sets), Hand protection (gloves), and Lung protection (dust mask, also called respirator).

Important note:

Never remove the protective machine guard, and ensure it is properly adjusted to deflect debris away from you. Ensure that no other person is at risk while working, especially near the machine.

I used this wheel with a 5" Bosch grinder to dress a large piece of granite in preparation for mounting street numbers to the stone. The wheel performed very well on this task. When I hit a soft spot on the face of the stone, some of the material sloughed off, requiring me to remove more stone then I planned. The wheel made this task easy, taking aggressive cuts where I need them, blending in the tool marks, and then feathering out the edges of the cut to blend the edges into the surrounding surface. The flat area was a perfect mounting surface for the iron street numbers, and the wheel still has a lot of life left in it for the next job. I could've paid twice as much for a comparable name brand wheel (which was also made in China), but this one did everything I required of it.

If you need to grind a lot of concrete fast this is for you.

If you're looking for a really smooth finish I would look elsewhere.

I used it to eliminate some imperfections here before acid staining a garage floor but it did not deliver the same level of smoothness as the floor grinder that I rented. Still, it was a lot less expensive that most of the other hand-held tools that I found.

It worked great on my concrete leveling and sanding bathroom project. A few lessons from using it. 1) - don’t let it sit flush on the concrete, just touch the concrete lightly and it will increase its efficiency. 2) in order to reduce dust you can spray mists of water on the concrete. However you will generate mud. So it’s your choice either clean up mud or use a strong vacuum to absorb the dust. For my case , I prefer the mud. Dust goes everywhere even with a vac. No matter it worked great. I recommended it. Thanks

This grinding wheel is amazing! We used it for several things, first to grind off an uneven portion of our sidewalk that had heaved up due to a root. I was surprised how quickly it ground away the concete. I had tried with conventional grinding discs without success. The second function was to resurface our front porch for painting. We had problems with the latex paint coming off of the concrete and had painted several times, only to have the paint peel. This resurfaced down to fresh concrete with ease. I do recommend a gentle touch as it will grind quickly, and of course wear a dust mask since it generates a lot of dust quickly!

Purchased this to remove leftover tile floor grout off a concrete floor. Couple tips that really help for removing the grout from a concrete floor. Lay a very wet towel over the grout for a couple hours so the moisture wicks through the grout and a bit of the cement floor. This keeps the dust way down, doesn't throw up water and cuts through the grout like butter. Much better than trying to grind when dry. Likely extends the life of the cutter as well. Just be careful as water and electrical tools don't mix, just don't crazy on the water, but most modern tools are double insulated.
