I've been using Toppik Hair Building Fibers for a few weeks now, and while it does provide some improvement in the appearance of thinning hair, I have mixed feelings about it.

On the positive side, the application process is straightforward, and the fibers do help to conceal thinning spots and adds volume to my hair. They blend reasonably well with my natural hair color, and the overall effect is decent.

However, I've noticed that the fibers can sometimes clump together, especially if I apply too much or if my hair is slightly damp. This can make the results look less natural, which is a bit disappointing.

Another aspect is the staying power. While the fibers stay in place for the most part, I have experienced some transfer onto clothing or pillows, especially on hot days or after sweating. Or when I run my fingers through my hair there can be fibres in my fingernails

In terms of removal, it's relatively easy with shampoo, but I wish it required less effort to wash out completely.

Overall, Toppik Hair Building Fibers provide a temporary solution for thinning hair, but there are some drawbacks to consider. It's worth trying if you're looking for a quick fix, but don't expect flawless results.Its also a very small container and depending on the quantity you require, this may not be enough for you considering the price point

A total game changer in terms of how I style my hair. I have been fighting with my hair for many years - trying special shampoos, changing my part, putting eye shadow on the thin areas, etc. I ordered this product with fairly low expectations, thinking if it does anything at all to help, I'll be happy. Well not only does Toppik really hide my thin areas, I've also learned to use it to "plump" up my whole hair style, giving me a much prettier blow-out look. First I make several parts in the thinner area along my hairline, and using the hairline tool to keep the fibers from falling onto my face, sprinkle a little bit on each section. Then I very gently comb the hair back to the way I want to style it, maybe adding just a little more fiber right along the edge of my hairline. I don't even use hairspray to lock it in place unless it's very windy outside. The Toppik stays in my hair until I shampoo it out, which is 3 or 4 days. It works so much better than eyeshadow because the little fibers cling to each hair instead of just coloring my scalp. Much more natural looking!
It does take a little bit of practice - don't give up! Try using different angles to apply it, and the hairline tool really helps too. Also you may have to try a few colors to get a perfect match, or even try mixing two colors.
I have seen some people mention the expense of using Toppik, but compared to the cost of hair growth medication or the pain of surgery and the gamble you take concerning the results, I consider hair fibers a huge bargain. How much is it worth, to gain confidence and freedom from the hassle of fighting with your hair? I consider it an investment in myself just like buying clothes and makeup. I'm so glad I decided to investigate this avenue of self improvement and I plan to never be without it. You can try different shades by ordering the small bottles, and then switch to buying the larger size which is the cheaper way to purchase. I hope this helps someone else decide to try Toppik. BTW, I have not been paid for reviewing Toppik.

Secondly, I was not impressed with the application. I didn't notice any "fibers." I will continue looking for something that works for me, that is also a good value.
