Scrum is the most adopted Agile methodology. The research conducted on Scrum adoption is mainly qualitative and there is therefore a need for a quantitative study on Scrum adoption challenges. The primary objective of this paper is to present the findings of a study on the factors that have a significant relationship with Scrum adoption as perceived by Scrum practitioners working within South African organizations. Towards this objective, a narrative review to extract and synthesize the existing challenges was conducted. These synthesized challenges were used in the development of a conceptual framework for evaluating the challenges that have a correlation and linear relationship with Scrum adoption. In addition to higher risks of various obstetric and gynaecological illnesses among women with obesity or who are overweight, maternal adiposity threatens the lifetime health of their offspring. Diverse treatments are provided, including complementary and alternative medicine such as Chinese medical practices. Acupuncture, a traditional Chinese medicinal method, is increasingly being applied to this health problem. This literature review analyses 25 clinical studies, involving 2407 participants aged 13-65 in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and North America. This illustrates the use of acupuncture alone or with other approaches to control body weight, obesity-induced diseases, and gynaecological health. Although positive indicators are presented, this study offers recommendations for enhancing reliability and validity in further research. It therefore suggests the use of acupuncture in dealing with obesity due to its efficacy, and economic
and safety benefits.

El avance constante de conocimiento y la creciente producción científica exigen a los investigadores herramientas que les permitan mantenerse actualizados. Frente a esta situación, la realización de revisiones de literatura posibilita la comprensión sobre determinada área y tema, además de mostrar lagunas de conocimiento que aún necesitan ser exploradas. La revisión de la literatura es definida como un estudio
detallado, selectivo y, a veces, crítico que tiene como objetivo examinar lo que se ha publicado. Hay otros tipos de revisiones, pero en este editorial pretendemos hablar de la Revisión Narrativa (RN), buscando describir los elementos principales que la constituyen y sus potencialidades.

ABSTRAK Amoxicillin merupakan salah satu antibiotik yang umum dan banyak dipakai oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Meskipun demikian, sediaan yang banyak tersedia di pasaran hanyalah sediaan per oral dan apabila dibutuhkan dalam dosis besar maka digunakan injeksi. Namun, banyak pasien yang memiliki kesulitan ketika mengkonsumsi obat oral maupun menginjeksi obat dengan jarum suntik yang menimbulkan rasa tidak nyaman setelah pemakaian. Oleh karena itu, pada review ini diperkenalkan metode penghantaran obat secara transdermal menggunakan plester microneedle. Tujuan review ini untuk memberikan informasi mengenai fabrikasi plester microneedle polimer, kemudahan pemakaian, dan manfaatnya agar kemudian dapat diaplikasikan sebagai metode penghantaran antibiotik yang lebih efektif dibanding metode lain. Data hasil diperoleh dari jurnal yang sudah terpublikasi baik dari jurnal internasional maupun nasional. Jurnal yang digunakan sebanyak 43,75% dipublikasi diatas tahun 2015 (5 tahun yang lalu), 53,125% di bawah 5 tahun yang lalu (2011-2015), dan 3,125% dipublikasi di tahun 2010 (10 tahun yang lalu). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa plester microneedle memiliki kemampuan mengenkapsulasi biomolekul dengan baik dan nilai bioavailabilitasnya tinggi serta lebih efektif dibandingkan metode transdermal lainnya. Selain itu, penggunaannya sangat praktis, efisien, dan mudah untuk masyarakat. Namun, produk plester yang diperkaya antibiotik ini belum banyak dijual di pasaran sehingga plester microneedle ini merupakan prospek yang baik untuk dikembangkan dengan memperkaya kandungan biofarmasi yang lainnya, seperti antigen, vaksin, hormon, maupun biomolekul lainnya. ABSTRACT Amoxicillin is one of the common antibiotics and widely used by Indonesian people. However, the only products that available on the market are oral preparations and when large doses are needed, the injection is used. However, many patients have difficulties when taking oral drugs or injecting drugs with needles which cause discomfort after use. Therefore, in this review, a transdermal drug delivery method using microneedle patch is introduced. The goal of this review is to inform about how to fabricate polymer microneedle patch, the ease of the use and the advantages that can be applied as an effective method to deliver antibiotics rather than other methods. The result obtained from journals that have been published both from international and national jou rnals. The journals used were 43.75% published above 2015 (5 years ago), 53.125% more than 5 years ago (2011-2015) and 3.125% published in 2010 (10 years ago). The data indicate that the microneedle patch has the ability to encapsulate biomolecules very well, has a high bioavailability value and is more effective than other transdermal methods. In addition, its use is very practical, efficient and easy for the community. However, this antibiotic-enriched microneedle patch product is not yet widely sold in the market. Thus, this microneedle patch is a good prospect to be developed by enriching other biopharmaceutical ingredients such as antigens, vaccines, hormones, and other biomolecules.

Health debilitation negatively impacts the physical and psychiatric states of ageing persons, consequently increasing individual , familial, and social burdens. Physical exercise is an effective measure to cope with this problem, and Baduanjin, a traditional Chinese exercise, is one of the choices. This narrative review analyses 58 clinical studies, which indicate the efficacy of Baduanjin for the health of old adults, including in physiological refinement, bone diseases, cardiovascular and cardio-pulmonary illnesses, metabolic disorders, digestive sicknesses, cognitive impairment, and mental disorders. The results not only reveal the rehabilitative and preventive functions of Baduanjin, but also suggest health promotion through this physical activity for the ageing population. It also proposes improvements in methodological design and practical implications for the well being of seniors and successful ageing.

Being overweight and obese impacts health due to adiposity itself and illnesses it incurs, which produces individual and societal financial burdens. This urges effective interventions, including adjunct therapies. Acupuncture, a traditional Chinese medical practice, indicates positive signs for tackling these problems. Investigating 101 empirical human-based projects, this narrative review analyses their outcomes and then provides an overview of the effects of acupuncture in body weight reduction and obesity-induced diseases, either performed alone or with other approaches. It involves 15941 participants from 9-80 years old in mainland China, Taiwan, Turkey, Brazil, Egypt, Iran, Greece, Korea, Sudan, Thailand, and the USA. It also reveals practical implications and future research directions, benefiting the development of acupuncture in the modern medical arena for both patients and practitioners.

In order to demystify the literature review process, this research had two objectives, the first is to extoll the literature review as the foundation for scientific writing, the second, to present a method that points out a systematical way of make searches in the literature, which can aid in systematic and integrative reviews. To do so, this work was founded on exploratory literature searchers on methods of literature review, resulting in definitions of the literature revision types, as well as in the Systematic Search Flow (SSF) method proposition. This method has been shown to be useful for both systematic reviews and systematic searches. The conceptualization of review types was essential to demystify the process.

BACKGROUND: Latent threats, such as prolonged labor duration and postpartum hemorrhage, endanger women and newborns during and post childbirth, which produce burdens on natal care and public health expenditures. Acupuncture, a traditional Chinese medical practice, has increasingly been used for labor delivery in various countries to cope with these problems.
METHOD: This narrative review searched 29 English and Chinese electronic databases. Thirty-one empirical studies, carried out in Asia, America, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Australia were reviewed according to inclusion and exclusion criteria.
RESULTS: Acupuncture is adopted with positive signs toward labor pain relief, delivery mode, labor duration, postpartum hemorrhage, APGAR score (an evaluation for a neonatal evaluation), and birth weight.
DISCUSSION: With support of earlier studies, the satisfactory effects of acupuncture on labor delivery reviewed in this research have been noted by obstetric researchers and scholars, physicians, nurses, and midwives.
CONCLUSION: This review recommends the use of acupuncture in obstetric profession with respect to maternal-related healthcare.

(1) Background: Dementia erodes the quality of life of patients and their caregivers, and the growing dementia population threatens public finance in the health and social services. In addition to formal medical treatments, complementary and alternative medicine is applicable to dementia, in which acupuncture has become an option for prevention, remedy, and rehabilitation. Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medical method that uses needle penetration at acupoints (specific points throughout the body which will be stimulated for therapeutic achievements), resulting in alleviating dementia symptoms; for example, enhancements in cognition, memory, language, behaviour, emotion, and self-care.
(2) Methods: This narrative review analyses 44 clinical human-based studies conducted 1998-2017, pertaining to 3078 participants who were 45-100 years old in Austria, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and the USA.
(3) Results: This review offers an overview of various methods of acupuncture (using acupuncture alone or combined with other therapies), and how they can be conducive to people inflicted by dementia.
(4) Conclusions: This study also reveals future research directions to develop acupuncture, which offers a novel approach to health care practitioners and patients.

The role of maternal support has been perceived as vital throughout the recovery process of sexually abused children. However, it is important to look at the concept " support " from the perspective of non‐abusing mothers' personal needs. This narrative review of the literature aimed to find out how non‐abusing mothers' need for support in their responses to disclosure of child sexual abuse has been recognized. A comprehensive search on Jyväskylä University Library interface yielded 12 academic articles based on empirical research. These articles were selected from those considered to have sufficiently investigated support for non‐abusing mothers and included a mixture of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed‐method research. The data consisted of peer‐ reviewed online articles published in English between 2000 and 2017. Four themes emerged from the thematic analysis: improving the quality of the whole social support network for non‐abusing mothers; being blamed, maternal guilt, and shame; anger; and coping strategies. The findings show that the support needs of non‐abusing mothers are usually explained based on their interaction with sexually abused children. However, it is necessary to listen to women's needs independently of their mothering role. If these mothers are better understood, not only they, but also their children, could be empowered. El  presente  artículo  expone  el  resultado  de  una  revisión  narrativa  basada  en  el cuestionamiento  sobre  la  forma  como  se  ha  configurado  académicamente  el discurso histórico  sobre  la  navegación  atlántica  en  Colombia.  Aunque  el  mar  ha  jugado  un  papel fundamental en la construcción, desarrollo, transporte y expansión de las sociedades, en el país, ha  sido  una  constante  histórica  el  desconocimiento  de  su  importancia. Lo  anterior puede deberse a que la construcción del saber histórico en esta materia, aún sea incipiente. Talsituación ha generado una negación e invisibilización categórica de las comunidades y de los saberesque se han desarrollado en el mundo marítimo colombiano, así como de sus procesos  históricos,  sus  manifestaciones  socio  culturales  y  posiblemente  hasta  de  susrecursos naturales.

How has the history of Atlantic navigation in Colombia been studied and narrated?

This article presents the result of a narrative review based on the questioning of the way in which  the  historical  discourse  on  Atlantic  navigation  in  Colombia  has  been  academically configured.  Although  the  sea  has  played  a  fundamental  role  in  the  construction, development,  transportation  and  expansion  of  societies,  in  the  country,  it  has  been  a constant  historical  ignorance  of  its  importance.  This  may  be  due  to  the  fact  that  the construction  of  historical  knowledge  in  this  area  is  still  incipient.  This  situation  has generated  a  categorical  denial  and  invisibilization  of  the  communities  and  knowledge  that have developed in the Colombian maritime world, as well as their historical processes, their socio-cultural manifestations and possibly even their natural resources.

Purpose
Despite numerous studies on the separate health consequences of economic crises and post-migration difficulties, very little is known about the processes through which the intersection of economic crisis and post-migration adversity contribute to migrants’ health vulnerabilities. The purpose of this paper is to examine existing literature about how newly arrived and long-term migrants’ health and well-being are affected by the economic crisis in Greece.
Design/methodology/approach
The ongoing economic recession in Greece, combined with the recent migration crisis, provided an adequate context for investigating migrants’ health and well-being. A narrative literature review was performed on whether and how migrants’ health and well-being are affected by the economic and the migration crises in the particular case of Greece. Papers published between January 2010 and December 2017 were selected based on review of titles and abstracts, followed by a full text review.
Findings
The review identified a surprisingly limited number of relevant studies. Ultimately five studies were selected and their findings summarised. There was only one study attempting to unravel the specific processes through which the crisis and the post-migration problems impact cumulatively on migrants’ health and well-being and to suggest healthcare improvements. Further research on this topic is urgently needed.
Originality/value
This paper explores existing research looking at how migrants’ health and well-being are affected by the economic and the migration crises in Greece. The emerging dearth of research evidence on the above topic is also critically discussed from a socio-political point of view and recommendations are made related to healthcare practice and services set up for migrants’ health and care.

In this Perspective we explore the evolution of our understanding of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and its relationship with repetitive head injury. As with many neurodegenerative conditions, there is an imperfect correspondence between neuropathology and clinical phenotype, but unlike other neurodegenerative diseases, CTE has a discrete and easily modifiable risk factor: exposure to repetitive head injury. Consequently, evaluation of the evidence regarding exposure to repetitive head injury and CTE risk should be undertaken using public or occupational health frameworks of medical knowledge. The current debate over the existence of CTE as a disease of concern is fuelled in part by immediate medico-legal considerations, and the involvement of high-profile athletes, with inevitable media interest. Moving beyond this debate has significant potential to address and reduce disease impact in the near future, and provide novel insights into mechanisms underlying abnormal protein accumulation in CTE and other neurodegenerative diseases.

The dental fear and anxiety (DFA) is a common phenomenon around the world. From children to the adults, most of the people become frightened when they face any dental discomfort and they need to visit a dentist and go through a treatment procedure in a dental set up. This narrative review tends to identify the causes behind DFA, its consequences and management of DFA from different studies which were conducted previously. This study is a narrative review of DFA. This study is mainly based on the secondary data from different articles and journals which were available online. After the proper screening from 154 titles, the final review included 68 articles. Hyperthermic intraoperative chemotherapy (HITHOC) is a synergy-based single stage multimodality treatment encompassing the locoregional manifestation of the systemic malignant process.
