About us

The British Pharmacological Society is a charity with a mission to promote and advance the whole spectrum of pharmacology. Founded in 1931, the Society now leads the way in the research and application of pharmacology around the world. It is a global membership community at the heart of pharmacology, with nearly 4,500 members from more than 60 countries worldwide. It supports pharmacologists with their education, careers, networking, meetings, research, funding, engagement, training, policy and journals and publishing.
