Unlike other cast iron cookware, the Le Creuset Signature Cast Iron Round Cocotte does not require seasoning because of its interior enamel coating. The sand colored interior enamel also helps to prevent burning and sticking and makes it easy to monitor food during cooking. The gorgeous enamel exterior is long lasting and resists staining, dulling and chipping. The lid is designed with built-in stabilizers to provide a secure and no-slide fit. Made in France.
