Changes to Regulatory Returns Licence Conditions and Codes of Practice

From 1 July 2024, all licensees will be required to submit regulatory returns on a quarterly basis, as outlined in the Commission’s consultation response on Regulatory Returns

All licensees will be required to submit their quarterly regulatory returns at the same time, aligning submission dates for licensees and the Commission. The first set of quarterly regulatory returns (relating to the period 1 July 2024 to 30 September 2024) must be submitted by all licensees within 28 days of the end of the first quarterly period, i.e. by 28 October 2024.

The Commission will also be making improvements to the submission process, including removing some of the questions and updating the guidance.

Further detail about the transition to quarterly returns, alignment of reporting periods and improvements to the process will be set out in further communications to licensees in the lead-up to the implementation date of 1 July 2024.
