Ours is a simple approach: listen to our clients; understand their audience; solve their problems. We've learnt that it's easier to make yourself understood when you speak in black and white. It helps to move beyond the grey areas and deliver a message loud and clear (or quiet and clear, if the brief requires). But there's more to it than that. We're avid collectors of all things visual. We're passionate about creative colour – the bright idea that catches the eye, connects with an audience and makes a message memorable.

    Bonta came to us with dollops of potential, and an appetite for change. Based in Bend, Oregon, their independent creamery uses farm-fresh ingredients from across the Pacific North West. This is our second project working in collaboration with entrepreneur-owner Corey Owens who bought the creamery just over a year ago. Corey felt that the existing identity was dated and saw an opportunity to harness the unique spirit of Bonta’s hometown. Drawing inspiration from Bend’s reputation as a haven for ‘in the know’ outdoor enthusiasts, we helped rejuvenate the brand with a new positioning: Gelato from the Great Outdoors. The visual identity exudes a minimalist charm punctuated by bursts of colour and brought to life through offbeat, flavour depicting illustrations, nestled in nature photography and gelato inspired topo patterns of local landmarks. The tone of voice is warm, laid back and upbeat. The new brand gives Bonta a strong sense of provenance, a bold modernity and above all a charming playfulness that captures the essence of their hometown. This is gelato, best enjoyed outside!     For years, Plenish has been a key player in the UK functional drinks market with premium plant-based products. Amidst growing competition, they sought to emphasise their cold-pressed, nutrient-rich shots. Expanding on our rebrand of Plenish, we revamped the shot and dosing bottle packaging, ensuring clarity and impact in a crowded market. Unlike rivals, Plenish shots pack a punch with 100% daily RI in each one. Our design highlights this, featuring vibrant ingredient photography and clear messaging. With six distinct variants, each shot is differentiated by colour, benefits, and ingredient-based names. Plenish's commitment to quality and nutrition shines through, setting them apart on the functional drinks shelf.     We recently partnered with highly acclaimed interior designer Nicola Harding. Nicola (Nix for short) has a well-deserved reputation for creating refined interiors. Rich in atmosphere, her work has been inspiring her commercial and residential clients for over 15 years. To bring her thoughtful design, colourful style and deep understanding of craftsmanship to a wider audience, Nix asked us to partner with her to develop a new homewares brand.     We’re delighted to announce our nomination for a coveted DBA Design Effectiveness Award, for our rebrand of Plenish, part of Britvic plc's growing plant-based portfolio. Founded in 2012, Plenish was one of the original functional health brands in grocery. But against evolving consumer attitudes and pronounced sector growth, the brand was facing increasing pressure on sales and market share. Recognising the need for a significant shift, we worked with Plenish on a radical repositioning, to appeal to a more modern, ‘foodie’ audience and focussing on the natural purity of their ingredients with no additives, oils or gums in sight. The results speak for themselves: Plenish is now the fastest-growing premium dairy alternative in the UK market, boasting a remarkable 64.4% growth — with a 57% increase in stockists since the rebrand. Thanks to Plenish for the opportunity to work on this exciting and transformative project, and to the Design Business Association (DBA) judging panel for acknowledging the pivotal role of strategic design in driving business success.     In addition to our accolade for Woven, we’ve also won Silver in the Best visual identity from the automotive sector category for our work on the AERO rebrand. This was a thrilling project for us not only because of the innovative technology we were trying to bring to life but also the incredible sustainability credentials that are at the heart of Aero’s brand story. Such rich territory was inspiring for our team, as design with purpose so often is. AERO, a film-based paint alternative, provides a revolutionary solution to a huge environmental problem. Ideal for the world’s most innovative automotive brands, AERO wanted to appeal to this design-led audience and needed an identity as cutting edge as their product. To help them connect, we repositioned AERO from a film-based coating manufacturer to a sustainable material technology company with the brand idea ‘engineered from the molecule up’. The insight for this came from the fact that AERO’s material technology isn’t just a different kind of paint – it’s a completely different kind of material, with a genuinely sustainable, non-polluting production method. It has superior aesthetic qualities than paint, whilst performing better and lasting far longer. The new brand has proved instrumental in repositioning AERO in automotive, enabling them to win partnerships with major, innovation-led OEMs and even launch a joint venture with PPG - the world’s leading paint manufacturer.     We couldn’t be more delighted to announce that we’ve won Silver at the Transform Awards Europe. Our work with the Dorchester Collection on Woven by Adam Smith was recognised in the Best visual identity from the food and beverage sector. Woven, the hotel restaurant at Coworth Park, has always had a good reputation. But there was an opportunity to elevate the dining experience to match the artistry of the kitchen. Creating a visual and verbal identity that would transform the restaurant into a foodie destination in its own right, whilst drawing in a new audience for the restaurant, and the hotel. Our new brand, which included the development of the name, visual identity and extensive copywriting, amplifies the care and craft of Adam’s kitchen, with a layered identity that reveals itself slowly through the dining experience. With sculptural signage that collides materials, expressive collages on the menus, and evocative storytelling at the table, the brand captures the flavour, texture and unexpected stories that are woven through every dish.     Always a pleasure to team up with the Mr Lyan Studio and Lore Group team — this time for the Lyaness 3.0 Cookbook — a stripped back, stories-driven menu with a more personal approach to taste. From light to rich, the visual journey takes you through the stories behind each drink. Once again we used AI (via Midjourney) as part of our team, with the Lyaness brand slash acting as a window into a series of fantastic worlds. The menu launched on Wednesday.
