This is one sturdy little cake pan that is built to last. Calphalon makes good products anyway so I'm not surprised how well this pan is made. It's durable and very easy to clean. The corners of the pan are folded and to clean this area of the pan I use a toothpick or wooden skewer and the spray hose of my faucet. I also tilt the pan and tap it several times to help get any water that may be in this area of the pan. It requires a little extra work but, the good food that I can make in this pan is worth the little extra effort.
Great pan, bought another one prior from amazon it had red silicon grips on it thought that would be helpful. Unfortunately after a few uses the bottom peeled, so threw that away. Calphalon is a great product, heavy weight and durable. You get what you pay for!
I bought this knowing that while food and batter might have a tendency to get stuck in the corner creases, I wanted a sharp-edged square pan. This fits the bill exactly, and food has not been difficult to scrape out of the cracks. The pan cooks evenly and isn't flimsy.
I *really* like them. Sometimes I think Calphalon slaps their name on too many different things; you can't count on it being a top quality item just because it's Calphalon (IMO).

I bought this pan after it was highly recommended by America's Test Kitchen. It is a well built pan. I like that the corners and sides are relatively square as opposed to rounded. Works great, but a little pricey for what it is.
I deducted one star because of the cheap stickers that took forever to get off and even then there was residual glue I could remove. For a pan of this price/quality they should have enough sense not plaster it with promotional stickers that are not easily removable!

Great heavy duty pan that was the exact size I needed. Clean up was very easy and browning over the entire dish was great during cooking. Calphalon seems to do a great job of making quality cookware.
This is a really nice pan. The reason I ordered it was the straight sides - most pans have sides that slant and the edge pieces of whatever I am making don't turn out the right size or shape. I plan to order a second one so I can bake both layers of a cake at one time.
