When hiring someone for a technical position, one of the first things a hiring manager looks for is experience. It is important to have a strong understanding of the technology being used and a proven track record of success in similar positions. Having a technical background is also beneficial, as this can help demonstrate a candidate’s understanding of the technology and the ability to use it effectively.
