From collaboration with DSS, child and family team meetings, and virtual visitation—we stand by every step. Weekly educational sessions, skill-building, and coping skill development are integral. Breaking generational chains is the goal, working with individuals where they are. Today, we celebrate strides in family stability, recognizing that empowering families is essential for lasting change.

Climbing high and reaching new heights—every parent's dream for their child. But when your little one has T1D, this simple joy can come with a backdrop of worry. How do you balance the protective instinct with the desire to let them soar? 🧗♀️ I'm working on something special to help ease the anxiety that comes with managing your child's condition, so you can both enjoy more moments like these, carefree and full of laughter. Do you know what it means to be a compassionate witness? It's a term that's been bandied around quite a bit recently and is something we've discussed in depth in my weekly study group. It turns out that being able to listen - to witness - another with presence and compassion does not always come easily. Yet with knowledge and skills, we can become better at providing this meaningful connection with others, while also avoiding the mistakes that undermine it. In this video I talk with BodyIntelligence teacher and my co-instructor about this important subject.
