And I love it^
Whenever I see people talking about a new videogame, I can’t stop thinking about ”Yeah that would be just better in VR”
The thing is whatever is happening in the flatscreen space I DON’T CARE. It all just feels the same, it’s boring, uninteresting, flat… (GTA 6 being the last game keeping my interest in flat gaming)
Some YouTubers go “Gaming isn’t fun anymore” like bro you’re ignoring the COOLEST gaming tech to ever exist!! And it’s only going to get better from here. Ready Player One is coming…
Do you agree?

Hey fellow VR enthusiasts,
Long story short,
Our epic story driven action-adventure game; UNKNOWN LANDS is out on App Lab!
Uncover hidden mysteries in this story driven action-adventure game. Rooted deeply within the Egyptian mythology, buckle up for a thrilling adventure!
Here are some screenshots of the game!!
Story of an indie game dev.
"I wanna play the mustache-guy game..."
"The mustache-guy game?? what are you talking about?"
"The one where he chases mushrooms and stuff."
"It's called Mario, you Idiot!"
This is the conversation that my friend and I had around 20 years back. Since I had no access to games of my own, I had to rely on my rich friends to play. Video games felt like a different world to me. A world where I can sink in and forget all my other problems like low test scores, or getting in a fight or misplacing my toothbrush (still don't know where my favorite blue toothbrush is)
More than a decade later, I had the wonderful opportunity to get my hands on VR. Everything changed at that point, and I preordered oculus quest2. Got in touch with my best friend and we decided to take a chance on it. I had this story cooked up in my head and wanted to get it out. We taught ourselves gamedev. This action-adventure game was set in ancient Egypt and the project was code named 'Project Anubis'. This was 3 years ago.
Its been one hell of a ride, (much like Mario, well.. if Mario was undergoing constant emotional turmoil and brain torture) and finally, Unknown Lands is out on meta quest! Yaaay peeps!! And hey, let me slip in a promo code, just in case.

This story is not just mine, in fact it's one of the many stories of wannabe indie game devs. To those folks, more power to you and keep going!! And to the gamers who are supporting us, KUDOS to you!!! You guys are awesome!!

How is the combat? Is it too easy or too hard? It says it’s got 14 weapons, are most of them balanced and not like only 4 of them is useful? Is there any replay value?

I have a relative who is having some rough time lately. I'd love to try to pick up their spirits by showing them some VR experiences of their favorite artist, Vincent Van Gogh. I see there is an app called Art Plunge that has Starry Night and there are a couple YouTube 180 videos on the subject but I am wondering if I missed anything. I'd love to hear anyone's suggestions, thanks ahead of time!
