Chart Highlights: Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars Top Pop Songs, Dance/Mix Show Airplay

Hot 100 leader "Uptown Funk!" tops two more tallies. Plus, new No. 1s for Usher and Eric Church, and Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney debut.

Chart Highlights offers a sneak peek at a select group of Billboard charts every Monday. (All charts below are based on radio airplay except for Dance Club Songs, which is based on reports submitted by a panel of DJs.) Find out the top songs, Greatest Gainers and debuts on the surveys listed below.

Pop Songs
*** No. 1 (1 week)*** “Uptown Funk!” Mark Ronson Featuring Bruno Mars
The Billboard Hot 100’s No. 1 song for three weeks running takes over atop Pop Songs. It’s Ronson’s first No. 1 on Pop Songs (in his first visit) and Mars’ seventh, tying him with Justin Timberlake for the most among men. Among all acts, only Katy Perry and Rihanna (11 each) and P!nk (nine) boast more, while Lady Gaga and Maroon 5 have also each tallied seven. “Funk” also tops Dance/Mix Show Airplay and debuts on R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Adult R&B Songs (see below).

Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney Headed for Hot 100 With ‘FourFiveSeconds’

Speaking of Rihanna, “FourFiveSeconds,” with Kayne West and Paul McCartney, soars in at No. 37 with less than two full days of airplay. While it’s Rihanna’s record-extending 40th entry on Pop Songs, it’s McCartney’s first (dating to the list’s 1992 launch). Fifty-one years ago this week, he was headed to the top of the Hot 100 thanks to the Beatles’ iconic debut smash, “I Want to Hold Your Hand.”

Juicy J scores his second Rhythmic Songs ruler, following his featured turn on Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” (March 22, 2014).
