Abstract

The momentum and intensity of calls for educational reform are directly related to issues of creativity and critical thinking. The author's works on critical thinking have been written almost exclusively in terms of teaching for the “critical” rather than the “creative” dimension of thinking. This article holds the creative dimension of thinking is best fostered by joining it with the critical dimension.
