Arthur: Your statement makes no sense. This is in English, so everyone - including non-scholars like yourself - are going to "use English letters in regard" to everything! Do you question the Egyptian religious story of 74: Osiris, Isis, Horus, Set & 70 others? Do you question the Biblical story of 74: Moses, Aaron and his two sons + 70 elders? Open any Bible to Exodus 24:1. It appears you have an anti-religious agenda here, correct? In your haste to erase Osiris=74 from the record, you deleted these easily confirmed truths. Your actions are the opposite of a scholar; you're are a destroyer of knowledge. You are in the same category as those who burned the Library of Alexandria and the Nazis who burned the books they didn't like! - Benjamin Franklin 75.74.180.52 (talk) 12:43, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
:In regard the English spelling of "Osiris", the article points out that "Usiris" is an alternative spelling. Your reference to the story of Moses really is numerology, there is no Biblical indication that "74" is significant. What else have you got? — Arthur Rubin (talk) 19:58, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
Arthur: Your ignorance is hampering the spread of knowledge. Gematria is not "numerology" although a numerologist can use it. A numerologist can also use your low IQ but that doesn't make your low IQ numerology. Please do your homework before you act like you know what you are talking about. You're like the high school physics student who is barely passing saying, "Einstein was wrong". But maybe it's prejudice on your part? Many Jews who practice gematria get very defensive and aggressive when confronted with Egyptian religion being the origin of Judaism and Greek isopsephy being the origin of Hebrew gematria while English Gematria is the evolution of all gematria. It's simpler and stronger. - Benjamin Franklin 50.153.105.11 (talk) 11:13, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

:Trivial. The number of appearances of anything in the Bible, the Koran, or any other work, is trivial unless there are reliable sources for the significance. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 20:00, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
Arthur: Wrong again! You are consistent. The GOD=7_4 algorithm which includes #74 is a BIG code that was placed in the Bible and many other historical references by those who practiced the ancient/sacred mysteries. Are you ignorant of the mysteries? I AM well-learned of them. - Benjamin Franklin 50.153.105.11 (talk) 11:55, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

74 representatives to the Constitutional Convention and Masonic Ceremony on 74th day of year to mark boundary of Federal City
I added to - 74 In Other Fields - The number of representatives to the Constitutional Convention + March 15, 1791 - the 74th day of the year in a non-leap year - when in a Masonic ceremony, the Southern Boundary marker of Federal City was laid along the Potomac River in Alexandria, VA. This was the United States first National Monument. - Benjamin Franklin 75.74.180.52 (talk) 13:37, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

:Needs a source both for accuracy and significance, preferably the same source. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 20:01, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

Note: I've edited out the mistake of March 15, 1791 - the 74th day of the year in a non-leap year - when in a Masonic ceremony, the Southern Boundary marker of Federal City was laid along the Potomac River in Alexandria, VA. This was the United States first National Monument. This was a quote from a History Channel program. But since I copied it here, my research has shown that the marker was actually laid on April 15, 1791 and exactly 74 years to the day later, Abraham Lincoln died after being shot the night before. - Benjamin Franklin 50.153.105.11 (talk) 11:38, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

Arthur: The "significance" of 74 representatives to the Constitutional Convention is that this article is on 74 (number). 9491520. - Benjamin Franklin 50.153.105.11 (talk) 11:38, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

74% of this Universe's elemental mass is hydrogen. 74% of the Sun's mass is hydrogen. ~74% of Earth's surface is water. ~74% of the human brain, heart , muscles and muscles newborns is water . Women's average heartbeat is 74 beats per minute.
-In Science- I've replaced what Arthur deleted... *74% of this universe's elemental mass is hydrogen. 74% of the Sun's mass is hydrogen. *~74% of Earth's surface is water. *~74% of the human heart and muscles is water. *Women's average heartbeat rate is 74 beats per minute. - Benjamin Franklin 75.74.180.52 (talk) 14:55, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
:74% is not relevant to the number 74, nor is the (inaccurate) "74 beats per minute". — Arthur Rubin (talk) 20:03, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
Arthur: That's ridiculous! Of course 74% is relevant to the #74. A women's average heartbeat at rest being 74 bpm is debatable, so I've deleted it. - Benjamin Franklin 50.153.105.11 (talk) 11:23, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
