Well, I never thought I would post anything on here but anyway... I cannot believe this will be the first thing I say on here 😅 but can organizations be more lenient when it comes to experience and skills? I, obviously, understand the value and importance of having experienced people but asking for 5+ years every single time is ridiculous unless it's a senior post. Anyway, I appreciate companies that have assessments and assignments as part of the application process because they allow candidates to showcase their skills and capabilities even if they do not have many years of experience. We need organization to offer opportunities to people so they can gain that valuable experience. Besides, talent is usually overlooked due to lack of "role experience." Imagine missing out on candidates who could possibly be the talent your organization needs only because they are fresh out of college/university or they have only learned skills but haven't done an actually job. Frankly, you do not have to imagine because that is what's happening. We need more organizations to come up and take a chance on our youth. They have more room to learn, they have more room to improve - take a chance and give a chance, you could change not only the future of a young person, but the future of employment in our country. Hey, this is actually really nice. I might start posting on here more! 😄
