I really dislike that Niantic doesn't publish the odds of hatching an specific pokemon. This allows them to promote egg hatching scam events by saying "chance to hatch X pokemon". But if you buy the incubators (or use the ones you saved), you end up hatching only trash. The odds of hatching what you want could be 1 in 1000000000000 and as long as the % is over zero technically Ninatic is not lying (you could get lucky).

Many people in the community have pointed out that egg hatching is a scam, but since I had over 20 incubators (frome bundles and lvl ups) I decided to use them to get a good Riolu during the stadium event that just went by. The odds were supposed to be 1/3 chance for Riolu, Emolga and G. Farfetch’d respectively. Long story short, I got 1 Riolu for every 10 Emolga and G. Farfetch’d and all the hatched pokemon had trash IVs. Even though I didn't directly expend money (the incubators were sitting in my inventory), it felt like a rigged bs.

Now Niantic is promoting a new egg hatching event at the end of this month. They are saying you could hatch a shiny larvesta (again the chance could be 1 in 100000000000000000000000). So pls don't give them money during the scam egg hatching events. If they don't get money maybe the will do them less often.
