ESP-r

 

 

ESP-r is a modelling tool for building performance simulation . In undertaking its assessments, the system is equipped to model heat, air, moisture light and electrical power flows at user specified spatial and temporal resolution. The system is designed for the Linux operating system, but can also be run on Windows platforms both directly or within the Cygwin environment.

ESP-r has a world-wide development community and its distribution is managed under GitHub source code control. The system is made available at no cost under an Open Source licence and may be obtained from ESP-r Central (please follow the instructions for installation from source code at this time).

ESP-r is widely used in consultancy, research and teaching contexts and ESRU offers courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing professional development levels.The following resources are available for consultation and download.
