I'm in a really rough patch of my life right now. My bf broke up with me 3 months ago, and since then, everything fell apart. I lost the guy I wanted to spend my life with, my bestfriend, most of my friends, I severed my relationship with my mother, I missed important academic deadlines, and now I'm left alone with my shattered dreams.

In my misery, I fell down the dangerous rabbit hole of getting into youtube tarot readings. I compulsively watch readings about blessings coming into my life, my ex coming back, a new love approaching, everything happening in divine timing. I know it's stupid. I don't truly believe in it and I never did. But for some reason, I want to believe in it. I want to believe in magic, in the fact that something great is coming, that all those things happened in order for me to welcome greater things from now on, that some divine forces are watching over me and supporting me.

I crave the reassurance that those readings give me. But my rational side eventually brings me back to reality, and I'm left here feeling stupid for watching those videos. I know what it does to me, I know giving in to anxiety and addiction is the very thing you shouldn't do with tarot. Yet here we are. I'm doing therapy and starting to feel better overall, but I keep watching those videos. I keep thinking of that one time a few years ago when I watched a love reading that resonated strongly and ended up becoming true. And now I miserably seek the reassurance that no one can give me irl through tarot readings.

I managed to stop using my own deck because I know I won't use it in a healthy way. I stopped watching videos about my ex coming back or "what is this person really thinking" type of videos. But I still watch videos almost everyday about future blessings, miracles, new love, and monthly readings. I try to cut off everything little by little, but the damage is done.

We already know that Sagittarians are free, crazy, adventurous, etc. but I would like you to post what you feel is typical of Sagittarians and they don't say it everywhere all the time. I read you!

I always see stuff like "(insert sign) men are shit but (insert sign) women are amazing" ALL the time! Maybe it's because I'm a trans man so my view and experience with gender may be a bit different than other people, but I just don't get why people think women and men of a certain sign are so vastly different. How can someone's gender lead to all these differences when I thought astrology was based on the time and place someone was born? If there's an actual reasoning let me know but to a certain extent, when I see these post it just feels like hating on men in general of a certain sign just because of a shitty ex

Heyyyy astro buds! The more I learn about astrology, the less sure I am about what’s important in a birth chart. Angular houses? Main three? Exact aspects? What gives the best indication of themes in someone’s life based on the chart? Or am I being silly and you really must consider all factors and look for the pattern? Any thoughts would be appreciated :)

I’ll probably add to this rant later on, but ultimately I’m tired of being projected upon, feared, and having men want to control or dominate and conquer me. I want to be loved for who I am, not stifled.

It’s like I’m a fantasy to them. I want to be real and viewed as a whole my someone despite my strength, appearance, and boldness. At my core I’m sensitive, loving, and tender.
