Manchester City's players have been accused of still being hungover as they produced a strangely lethargic FA Cup final display.  Manchester United arrived at Wembley as big underdogs but City's stars looked way off it, leaving some fans to speculate that they are still feeling the effects of their post-league title party. 'City are playing like a team that's been on the piss all week,' one post on X read.

Erik ten Hag has hit out at Manchester United fans for having 'no sense of reality' amid their 11-year title drought in an incendiary interview on the day of the club's FA Cup final against Manchester City.  The embattled manager is believed to be heading for the exit at Old Trafford regardless of whether his side triumphs at Wembley on Saturday against their crosstown rivals after two season in charge at the Manchester club.  Ten Hag has been defiant in his stance that he remains in the plans of Man United's new minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS team since the petrochemicals billionaire took over the running of football operations in February.

Crystal Palace legend Mark Bright suffered a social media faux pas after fans spotted him publicly messaging an OnlyFans dominatrix called 'Mistress KL'. The ex-BBC pundit and Palace loans manager replied to a very racy picture on X captioned 'things that make you go mmmmmm' by asking 'Hi hun, you all good?' A football agent who works Erik ten Hag's representatives SEG has appeared to link Thomas Frank's team to Friday's news that the Manchester United manager will reportedly be sacked regardless of the outcome of Saturday's FA Cup final in a now-deleted post on social media. 

Manchester United fans took the chance to poke fun at their Man City rivals by taunting them over their 115 Financial Fair Play charges. City are still awaiting an outcome for the 115 charges - that are strongly denied by the club - which include a failure to provide accurate financial information between the 2009-10 and 2017-18 seasons, a failure to provide accurate details of player and manager payments during the same period, and alleged breaches of Premier League and UEFA financial rules. A total of 35 relate to a failure to co-operate with Premier League investigations into the matter between December 2018 and February 2023.

The Manchester United and England legend has returned to management in the Championship just four months after being sacked by Birmingham City.  The 38-year-old boss was axed by the Midlands club after just 15 matches and 83 days back in January, in a season where the Blues were ultimately relegated to League One despite sitting in the top half prior to Rooney's arrival.

Tom Huddlestone has announced he has left Manchester United after two years with the club's under-21 side. The former Tottenham midfielder arrived at Old Trafford in 2022 to serve in a player-coach for United's youth side, replacing his former Hull teammate Paul McShane in the role. Scottie Scheffler was left in disbelief as a birdie putt didn't break toward the hole at the Charles Schwab Challenge played at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas. With a roughly 11-foot putt left for birdie, Scheffler watched as his putt didn't break towards the hole and rolled by about two feet. Scheffler, in disbelief, flipped his putter and looked up at the sky before saying, 'Screw these greens man. Gosh, how does it do that?'

Athletic Bilbao star Inaki Williams has discovered that he was playing with a shard of glass in his foot for two years. Williams has now undergone surgery to correct the issue, as reported by The Mirror. The 29-year-old will be absent for Athletic's final game of the LaLiga season, which sees them face Rayo Vallecano away on Saturday. Williams had a scan in April after he had previously been struggling with a foot issue.
