fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck you Amelia. scumbag behavior

that one line made anything that character said later mean jack shit. that line pissed me off more than anything in the entire show.

this is beginning of season 8 when sam accidentally hits a dog in the car.

Walt is an asshole from the very beginning of the show

A lot of discourse into this show purports the idea that Walt goes from this really nice, good human to evil and I don’t really agree with this assessment. Sure, Walt isn’t evil or irredeemable at the beginning of the show but he’s not like a “good person” by any means. He literally blackmails Jesse into cooking with him. He also, when grading tests (this was years before the Pilot, but we can see it when we see Jesse’s test grade) he’d say really rude things whenever someone got a low score, instead of just giving the score and saying “see me after class” like a normal teacher.

‘Dexter: Original Sin’ Adds James Martinez, Christina Milian, Alex Shimizu & Reno Wilson As Production Begins In Miami

Anyone else find Jackson annoying in desperate housewives? Or was it just his hair cut? Or the fact he was with Susan? Either way I found his character kind of meh for the storyline. Nice guy, but meh

Richie

Did anyone else love Richie from the jump? All the time I see people saying they thought he was insufferable until Forks and that couldn’t be further from my experience with him. Richie is an asshole but Ebon plays him with such a sensitivity, you can just see the pain in his eyes. I immediately saw past his tough, brazen exterior and saw that he’s really just insecure, hurting and grieving. His scene in the car with Syd in episode 2 solidified his position as my favourite character and it took a season and a half for everyone else to catch up with me. That phone call with his daughter is so incredibly well shot and acted like damn.

He’s an incredibly layered and compelling character and that’s how I’ve felt since the pilot. He also has some of the best lines, he was making me laugh the moment he showed up and all two seasons long. So many quotable lines and his delivery is damn near perfection.

He kinda reminds me of Merle from the walking dead in that they’re both brazen assholes but underneath the surface is an insecure, broken but decent man. Ebon and Michael Rooker are both immensely talented, badass actors that brought a real sensitivity to their respective characters.

I also don’t even think Richie changed all that much in Forks, he just realised his self worth and in the next three episodes he takes accountability and apologises. Take notes Syd!

I felt so proud and happy for him in the finale and when he’s yelling “I love you!” to Carmy in the middle of their argument, that hit. I’m really looking forward to seeing where Richie’s story goes. I wanna see more scenes with him and his daughter and I’d love to see him and Chef Jess go on a date or something. He deserves someone that will appreciate his Bill Murray story.

Before Forks, how did y’all feel about Richie?
