I only cared about Cleganebowl because I wanted the hound back. Now that he's back I don't care at all if he goes north instead and never sees his brother again.

I'm with you. Cleganebowl was a cool idea and all, but with the zombification of Gregor... what's the point? The Hound kills his undead brother for what? Cleganebowl would have been much cooler earlier in the series when Gregor was still his hateful, twisted self. As a zombified shell of his former self, if Sandor kills Gregor, he is basically just giving his brother mercy (which I guess works in its own right, but not really the Hound's style).

I actually like the direction Sandor is going at this point; it is really a mystery where he might end up, and he might end up having one of the best character redemption arcs in the show.
