What are some movies that greatly misunderstood their audience?
Remember when Expendables 3 brought in a bunch of unknown young people and took the spotlight away from the action legends? Apparently, they did that so these new characters would interest a younger audience, or something. I feel like that's a major "wtf" move, especially considering that this franchise was literally made to be a somewhat self aware throwback to the action movies of old, and bringing in older, beloved action heroes is part of that.
What are some movies that just...don't get it?
Cars 3, a story about retiring in grace isn't something kids are interested in. And cars 1 kids (loke me) were already majorly turned off by Cars 2 at that point.
