Geoffrey Kidde is an author, composer, flutist, electronic musician and music educator. His book, Learning Music Theory with Logic, Max, and Finale was published by Routledge in 2020. He has composed two operas as well as works for chorus, orchestra, chamber ensembles, and works for electronics alone or combined with instruments. He taught at Manhattanville College from 2002-2024, and is currently Professor Emeritus.
