Overview

A wiki, just like any other online community, requires a dependable and hardworking staff team to keep things running smoothly. On the WCUE Wiki, staff members are trusted volunteers who work tirelessly to manage wiki threads and/or content at a local level. A staff member's area of expertise is dependent on their position.

Roles

The following is a list of important wiki roles and what each one does to contribute to the wiki.

Bureaucrats

Bureaucrats are users with the ability to change, grant, and revoke user rights, block/unblock accounts, delete or revert undesired contributions, and moderate threads. Additionally, they are expected to edit pages, answer questions, and serve the community to the best of their ability. The bureaucrat is the most powerful role on the wiki. Users cannot apply for this position, as it is granted only to trusted administrators.

Administrators

Administrators, similarly to bureaucrats, possess the ability to block/unblock accounts, delete or revert undesired contributions, and moderate threads. Unlike bureaucrats, however, administrators cannot grant administrator or bureaucrat privileges, while bureaucrats can manage all positions. They are expected to edit pages, answer questions, and serve the community to the best of their ability. Users can only become an administrator if they were previously a thread moderator or content moderator, and were promoted for their hard work.

Thread moderators

Thread moderators possess the ability to lock, delete, edit, re-categorize, and otherwise moderate discussion threads. Additionally, they are expected to actively participate in discussions. They are the first users to contact if there is any problem among discussions and will deal with everything correlating to discussions.

Content moderators

Content moderators are editors with the ability to delete or revert undesired contributions and manage protected pages. They are also expected to contribute to wiki pages and watch for vandalism. While thread moderators deal with discussions, content moderators deal with wiki pages. They are the first users to contact for page or image-related concerns.

Fettuccine alfredo pasta (Pigeon) goes by he/him pronouns and is currently a Bureaucrat. He is enamored with birds and robots, and will be forever grateful to anyone who chooses to discuss those subjects with him. "Hello there! Taruuuu (Knife) goes by he/him pronouns and is currently an Administrator. He can be contacted at jaxondazed@gmail.com or on Discord knife_lock. Knife is currently busy at times, and might not respond to messages. He also loves aviation. “Hi. My name is Knife. You can report to me if you see something that breaks the guidelines."

ThornsXD (Thorns) goes by he/him pronouns and is currently a Thread Moderator. Thorns loves to draw, and will never shut up about his two cats ever! "Hiiiiiii!!!!i!!! Im a goofy dude so if you ever want to chat, spam memes, or anything, im here >:D"

SpaghettiArt (Bea) goes by any pronouns and is currently a Thread Moderator. The fabulous SpaghettiArt (Bea), is many things, including an artist, a very silly person, and a fashion icon. The literal only thing they think about is music, so do not be surprised if you see 20,000 lemon demon references in one post. "Hello, im Bea! I am constantly bored so if you need anything, feel free to ask!"

Grasswhisper12 (Grass/Grasswhisper) goes by she/her pronouns and is currently a Thread Moderator. Grass absolutely loves One Piece and Pokemon, and enjoys playing games and drawing!!!!! A lot!!! "Hi hi hi!!!!!!!! Im Grasswhisper and Im a very cheerful and friendly person, so if you need someone to do pretty much anything with Im here!!!!!!"

SakuraWolf5 (Sakura/Arbalest) goes by she/her pronouns and is currently a Content Moderator. Sakura enjoys a wide range of hobbies. They love playing video games and can rant about them for hours on end- From resident evil to Stardew valley! "Ello Ello!! If you ever wanna talk about absolutely anything under the sun feel free to message me, I’ll likely reply in a few hours or so!! :]"

Pumpkinpup (PumpkinPup) goes by she/her pronouns and is currently a Content Moderator. PumpkinPup enjoys making cosplays in wcue, and making content for wcue themself! "Hello! My names PumpkinPup, feel free to message me anything, I will usually reply to everything that gets sent!"
